Formation of the polyartistic competence of future directors of theatrical performances in the educational process of the University of Arts
The article deals with the polyartistic competence as an integrative quality of an individual, necessary for the holistic professional activity of a director of theatrical performances. It describes the potential of the polyartistic approach as a methodological basis for the formation of the polyartistic competence of future directors of theatrical performances, as well as the pedagogical conditions of its formation in the educational process of the University of Arts.

Means of theatrical pedagogy in the process of professional training of a vocalist teacher
The article deals with the theatre pedagogy in the process of professional training of a vocalist teacher. The artistry of a vocalist teacher is regarded as a complex of stage adaptability and emotional “contagion”, as well as the quality characterizing the level of professional skills - “character consciousness”. The formation of a complex of professional qualities of a vocalist teacher can be ensured by the unity of means of musical and theatrical pedagogy.

Bullying in ballet education: problem statement
The article deals with the issue of violence (bullying) in ballet education. This is the first time the problem has been raised in psychological and pedagogical science. Manifestations, psychological reasons, features of bullying in ballet education are considered based on the research of 187 graduates of choreographic schools of Russia of various years. The influence of the existing principles of ballet education on the formation of personal and psychological characteristics of dancers is also revealed in the article. Taking into consideration that the profession of a ballet dancer belongs to the category of stressful, it requires some special methods of psychological support.

Priority tasks of physical education in young generation health care
The article deals with the main ways of physical education development in different historical periods and its modern tendencies. The author proposes the name “Athletics” for the discipline, which is now called “Physical Education”. The necessity of using modern forms of educational work, namely flash mobs and battles, in the process of forming the values of a healthy lifestyle of young people is proved in the article.

Educational risks in student training in the system of higher schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The article deals with the most common interpretations of the concept of “risk”. The authors considers the classification of the main risks accompanying the process of training of cadets and students of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The main reasons for these risks are highlighted. As possible ways to solve this problem, the authors propose the main directions of activities of specialists of various departments of universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the framework of the educational and methodological, psychological and pedagogical support.

Intellectual and graphic culture: continuity and evolution of the school discipline “Fine Arts”
The article deals with the issues of the continuity of the discipline “Fine Arts” in the general education. The analysis of the data from the international research can reveal the possibility of obtaining the metasubject results by means of formation of the intellectual and graphic culture of students. The author proposes the three-vector approach, which allows predicting the direction of the IGC development at different levels of the general education, as a strategy of fine arts evolution.

Experience of teaching academic writing to students specializing in languages: comparative analysis
The article deals with the features of the process of teaching academic writing to students specializing in languages. The experience of the academic culture formation in English allows identifying both common goals and differences in the contents and the logic of material presentation to linguists and teachers. The differences in perception of course goals by students, the strategies of working with the material, the methods of correction and further implementation of written skills are analyzed in the article.

Retrospective analysis of foreign approaches to control and evaluation of foreign language writing
The article deals with the analysis of the evolution of foreign approaches to evaluation of written speech. Since the 1960s, the development of methodological tools has been determined by the search for methods to improve the reliability of evaluation. Their transformation is correlated with the periodization of methodological approaches to teaching writing. The evaluation procedures are determined by the transition from the control and diagnostics to the actualization of developing and orienting functions.

Russia’s contribution to the development of higher education in modern Mongolia (by the example of the Mongolian State Conservatoire)
The article deals with the results of historical and pedagogical generalization of the modern stage of higher education development in Mongolia. The contribution of pre-revolutionary, Soviet and modern Russia to the formation of the Mongolian education system is analyzed. The reasons and consequences of the introduction of the Cyrillic in Mongolia are under consideration. The Mongolian education reform in the 1990s is evaluated; the conceptual foundations of creation of the Mongolian State Conservatoire are investigated.

Development of the system of classical vocational education in the Bashkir ASSR in 1917-1941
Based on archival materials, the article presents the complete picture of the development of the system of the classical vocational education in the Bashkir ASSR in 1917-1941. The levels of education (primary, secondary, higher) and the main directions (pedagogical, medical, economic, musical and artistic, legal, library, physical education) are characterized. The main trends and features of the development of this system due to the cultural, historical, political, economic and ethno-cultural conditions are under consideration. The positive experience accumulated by the classical sphere of education, which is important for the modern educational system, is highlighted in the article.

National corpus of the Russian language as the main search tool in linguistic research (based on the search for antonyms in journalistic texts)
The article deals with the implementation of various linguistic research by means of the national corpus of the Russian language. As the example of search for necessary units optimized in time and scope of the text material, it presents the algorithm of search for the pairs of antonyms in journalistic texts.

Nuclear components of the microfield of objective and subjective need (gender aspect)
The article deals with the features of functioning of the main explicators of the modal meaning of need (adverbs “надо”, “нужно”, predicative adverb “должен / должна”) in the statements of men and women as presented in journalistic texts. The comparative frequency of the use of the specified explicators in speech of men and women is under consideration in the article, the reasons for their difference regarding the purpose of the verbal communication and gender factors are found out.

Speech genres of reasoned discourse: convincing and persuasion
The reasoned discourse has not got a complete linguistic description in relation to everyday Russian-language communication: the argumentation in various communicative situations has not been sufficiently investigated, the speech genres of the reasoned discourse (convincing and persuasion) have not been distinguished, there are no typologies of arguments. We have analyzed the works on the topic and identified some common and distinctive features of both genres.

Dialectal figurative comparisons in the Full Dictionary of Folk Phraseology
Based on the material of the Don dialects the article deals with the figurative comparisons in the Full Dictionary of Folk Phraseology. The methods of dictionary formulation of dialect comparisons at the wide background of the national phraseology are under consideration, which allows clarifying their status as regionalisms, reflecting their specific nature at the level of semantics and their figurative structure. It presents the examples of dictionary entries, the block and core principle of the material structure.

The “virtual” word of the artist and its functional aspect
As the result of the general cultural transformations that happened at the end of XX - beginning of XXI century, the general direction of artistic processes is changing, as well as the personal word of the artist, which is most fully represented in the diary entries. Systematizing the texts of contemporary artists by the method of objectification allows distinguishing three types of diary narration: classical, virtual and mixed. The emphasis is on the functional differences, which are based on the shift of the composition and style and ontological structure of the genre.

Approaches to the analysis of intercultural business communication (based on Skype communication)
The article deals with various approaches to communication research; the concepts of “intercultural communication” and “business communication” are compared. Sentences of identity and their lexical and grammatical synonyms
The article deals with the indirect ways of expressing the identity in the course of research in the field of lexical and grammatical synonymy. In the focus of the study there is a qualifying sentence (the syntax model S+Vc+P), which is the main form of the identity expression. The diversity of the surrounding world determines the selectivity in the choice of both the component of the statement of the identity and the syntactic model of the statement.

Alma mater, laudamus nomen tuum (“Alma mater, we praise thy name”): linguosemiotics of creolized text inscriptions of world universities
The article deals with creolized texts of text inscriptions on the corporate T-shirts of world universities as a linguistic and semiotic component of the educational or academic discourse. The author studies the cluster of signs that perform the role of the presentemes to demonstrate the belonging of the T-shirt bearer to the university corporate community and for the semiotic fixation of the proclaimed values of the University, the divine origin of knowledge, its truth, humanity and institutional character. The coats of arms and mottos of the world universities are studied as a holistic creolized text.

Comparison of Russian and Chinese verbs with the meaning of meeting at the background of lexical typology
The article presents the comparison and analysis of the verbs with the meaning of meeting in the Russian and Chinese languages against the background of the lexical typology of the semantic components “space”, “symmetry” and “regularity”. Compared to Russian, the Chinese language has more transitive verbs with the meaning of meeting. Besides, the spheres of collectification of some particular verbs in the two languages do not coincide, in translation the Russian verb “встречаться” corresponds not only to the verb 相遇, but also to many other verbs.

General Mongolian vocabulary dealing with “pack and horse transport” in the khalkh-Mongolian, Buryat and Kalmyk languages
The article deals with the vocabulary concerning the terms of pack and horse transport based on the example of the names of horses and camels used for riding and transportation of goods in packs in the Mongolian languages: khalkh-Mongolian, Buryat, Kalmyk and old Mongolian indicating their general Mongolian character.

“Speculation in Colours”: an icon in the works by N.S. Leskov and by Russian religious philosophers of the late XIX - early XX century (E.N. Trubetskoy)
The article deals with the poetics of the verbal icons in the stories by N.S. Leskov “The Sealed Angel” (1873) and “On the Edge of the World” (1875) in their correlation with the concept and study of a philosopher of the late XIX - early XX century E.N. Trubetskoy “Speculation in Colours. Sketches of Russian Icon Painting” (1918). It is proved that the integrity of the Russian culture is due to the inextricable link between the icon painting art, Russian literary classics and Russian religious philosophy.

Synergy of the tragic in the play by Venedikt Erofeev “Dissidents, or Fanny Kaplan”
From the standpoint of the synergy of the tragic and in line with the methods of the receptive aesthetics, structuralism, hermeneutics, the article deals with the unfinished drama by Venedikt Erofeev “Dissidents, or Fanny Kaplan”. The novelty of the study is that the drama under consideration has never been studied within the framework of objectification of meaning, specification of the lines of its reading, and the results provide the opportunity to supplement the verification of the style and language of Venedikt Erofeev, as well as to clarify a number of priorities for the development of the Russian postmodernism, the principles of the postmodern poetics. The issues of the author’s style, incomplete text, nomination of the author’s discourse are under consideration in the article.

Forms of the author’s presence in the Cervantes’s collection “Eight Comedies and Eight Interludes” (1615). To the issue of metatheatricality
The article deals with the forms and levels of the author’s instances in Cervantes’s collection “Eight Comedies and Eight Interludes”, namely in the prologue and comedies “A Daring Spaniard” and “The Algerian Servitude”, where Cervantes appears not only as a super-author of the general idea, the author of the text, a playwright, but also as a director and a character.

Thematic organization of the tales by M. Bond “A Bear Called Paddington”
The article deals with the study of the plot of M. Bond’s fairy tale “A Bear Called Paddington”. The following phases are under consideration: the phase of isolation (arrival of the main character and his characteristics in the category of a chosen one), the phase of partnership (Paddington’s relations with the members of the Browns’ family, as well as the situation of the “improper” behaviour that turned into a triumph), the liminal phase (the character’s deadly test anticipating the final phase of transformation in the new quality of life).

Terek Cossacks-defectors in the camp of opponents of the tsarist army in the 1840-1850s
The article deals with the motivation and consequences of the Terek Cossacks’ defection to the side of the opponents of the tsarist military administration in the North Caucasus. The author makes an attempt to analyze the motivation of the Cossacks’ defection and their subsequent military activities on the side of the mountain rebels. The presence of Shamil in the troops, as well as of other mountain leaders of the Caucasian War era of a considerable number of the Terek Cossacks indicates the complexity and ambiguity of the participation of the Cossacks and the North Caucasus representatives in the Caucasian War and the failure of their unambiguous opposition in the considered period.

Main activities of the Orenburg Zemstvo in 1913-1915

Special flight and parachute training in the course of athletic training in 1937
The article deals with a special flight and parachute training in KUPP-37 and proves the objective necessity of the new course. Agriculture of South Ossetia during the Great Patriotic War
The article deals with the development of the agricultural production in South Ossetia during the Great Patriotic War. It describes the potential of the agricultural development of the region achieved by the beginning of the 1940s as the result of the collectivization process, highlights its inconsistency. The main activities of the party and state leadership regarding the collective farms are under consideration; its practical results are analyzed. The importance of the individual labor initiative of rural workers of South Ossetia in the process of achieving higher production indicators is emphasized. It states the labor feat of the people of South Ossetia, who managed not only to ensure the preservation of the organizational structure of the agricultural production in the most difficult conditions of war, but also to achieve its positive dynamics.

Formation of the territory of the Volgograd region and agglomeration in the XX century: borders, administrative structure
The article deals with the history of formation of the Stalingrad area and the Stalingrad region for the last 100 years. The author points out numerous changes of borders and areas of the territory, which became the modern Volgograd region. It also deals with the territorial growth and administrative structure of Stalingrad - Volgograd, which became one of the largest administrative and industrial centers on the Volga.

Biogenetic bases of ethnic development
The article deals with the natural and biological parameters of the ethnic development. The specificity of the ethnic genotype is formed as the result of adaptation to the environment. Natural and geographical spaces that provide the reproduction of a particular population of the biological species homo sapiens, become an ecological niche of a particular ethnic group. The connection with its ecological niche is determined socio-culturally.

Retrospective analysis of the place of Foreign Asia as a host base for Russian tourists in the changing geopolitical situation of the present
The article deals with the historical features of the development of the international Russian outbound tourism to the countries of Foreign Asia. The authors carry out the retrospective analysis of the place of the Asian countries in the changing geopolitical situation. The factors contributing to and hindering the development of outbound tourism of Russians to Asian countries, the dynamics of tourist arrivals for 2013-2017, the distribution of Russian tourists by types of tourism in the Asian region are presented in the article.
