There are covered the ontological categories meaningful for finding out the essence of the notion “language lacuna”. There are given the arguments for intralinguistic interpretation of lacunas.

There are considered the approaches to the interpretations and correlation of the notions “language policy” and “language planning”. There is made the attempt to classify the approaches and to suggest the compromise solution of the united name issue that combines these notions.

Based on the French language there is shown the correlation of the key, culmination episodes of the text and its intensity with various means that provide the emotive and expressive component of the text.

There are represented the analysis results of the interview with professional diplomats, in particular the peculiarities of negation use by diplomats in their utterances. All the cases of negation use are divided into several groups: direct, intense, soft negation, as well as the tactics of deviation. In the examples to each group there is given the analysis of the character of negation use. There are considered the plots of the Evenki mythological narrations unknown before, existing at Western Evenks of the Vanavarsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Krai. There is described the adaptation of the acquired knowledge about world to the ancient traditions in the mythological narrations about earth creation.

There are considered the notions of the basic family roles of a man and a woman reflected in the Russian and Bulgarian folk tales. The main attention is paid to the most important for each nation quality of a husband and a wife, as well as to those which are the most preferable for marriage.

There is described the historic anthroponomy of the North Eastern part of Belarus fixed in the monuments of business writings of the the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the XV-XVII centuries. The characteristic feature of the region anthroponomy is crossing of onymic lines, which is substantiated by contacting and influence of different languages and cultures.

There is regarded the notion “globalism pragmatonym”. There is analyzed the frequent use of globalism pragmatonyms beyond the advertising discourse and shown their potential to be morphologically transformed. There are marked out the most frequent usual ways of pragmatonymic word formation which includes pluralization and suffixation.

There are analyzed the letters by S.A. Yesenin, which helps to choose the parameters of the communicative situation “private letter” that reflect the specificity of the situation and the text of the letter as the result of sender’s speech work.

There is proved that one of the basic emotional concepts in the novel “The Confusions of Young Torless” by an Austrian writer of the XX century Robert Musil is shame, and the main method of its verbalization is designation. There is considered the lexeme “Scham” and its derivatives “sich schämen”, “Beschämung” that are the core in the system of designation of this notion. There is shown that the associative field of the concept “shame” in the novel includes the words “red”, “to redden”, “blushing”, “darkness”, “fear”, “naked”, “uneasy”, “concealed”.

There is carried out the analysis of the two integrated superconcepts “Animal” and “Bird” including a number of concepts represented by non-standard names of animals and birds. There are analyzed various zooconcepts with the aim of reconstruction of cognithemes. There is researched the figurative aspect of concepts. As the result of the analysis there is revealed the process of interaction of the two concept spheres, when various concepts of animals and birds in metaphors are correlated with the concept sphere “criminal world”.

There is considered the metaphoric component of the concept “offence” in the English fiction discourse. The analysis of the figurative constituent of the concept helps to understand its essence as the mental formation where the peculiarity of this or that ethnos is fixed, to consider the way of conceptualization of the world by a human.

There are described the basic functional varieties of the Indian English language, which are characterized by a great number of spelling, grammar, phonetic and phraseological deviations from the British standards. There is suggested to consider these functional varieties of the Indian English language as a graded scale representing the various degrees of standards and prestige.

Based on the literary and dramatic works, texts of mass culture there is analyzed the history of reception of the literary personage - Snow Maiden, traced the process of creation of Snow Maiden scenario in the domestic culture. The image of “snow girl” is considered from the folklore sources to the personage of repertoire collections of the Soviet and post Soviet New Year celebration scripts.

There is analyzed and interpreted the poem by V. Khodasevich “Ballad” (1921) in the light of the modern conception of the literary process of the XX century. There is put the question about the specificity of neotraditionalism as one of the non-classic forms of correlation with the culture tradition, as well as considered the sphere of poetology as an important element of the art philosophy. There is made the attempt to trace some features of the non-classical tradition-centeredness by the material of a single poetic text devoted to the description of a creative act.

There is analyzed the genre nature and the artistic specificity of the memoirs story by A.I. Denikin “The Way of Russian Officer”, considered the ideological and thematic layer of the autobiographic narration.

There is considered the view on Shakespeare heritage by a literary critic S.D. Krzhizhanovsky. There is analyzed the notion of historicism in the unpublished report by S.D. Krzhizhanovsky “About the Historic Chronicles of Shakespeare” read in the 1935 in the autonomous section of playwrights in the organizing committee of the Union of Soviet Writers.

There are considered the peculiarities of the conflict situations in the stories by A.I. Solzhenitsyn in the 1990s “Ego” and “At the Edges” that allow the artist’s representation of the truth of the characters who suffer great historical burdens of the XX century.

There are regarded the images of childhood space created by a modern fantast writer S.V. Lukyanenko with consideration of the folklore and mythological tradition and “memory” of the chivalry tale genre.

There is implemented the research of the poetry and structure of the historic chronotop and temporal rhythm in the cycle of poems by E. Vasilieva (Lee Xiang Zi) “A Small House under the Pear Tree” in the context of the Russian and Chinese cultural tradition. There are represented the research results - the basic space and temporal categories, peculiarities of realization of the calendar and numerological code, correlation of the Eastern and Christian religious tradition in the poetess’s lyrics.
