the story by L.Tolstoi The Cossacks
A garden in the story by L.Tolstoi The Cossacks,
as well as in other works by this writer, implies the
idea of general life. The scene of grape gathering
is considered as the prologue to bread labour
scenes in Anna Karenina; there are noted the
evangelical motives that connect these scenes. In the
representation of grape garden as the love space,
