The article deals with the linguocultural type “Disney princess” in the American linguistic culture. The author analyzes its modification in the period from the first appearance on the screen (1937) until the present moment. The evolution of the type “Disney princess” is considered in connection with the changes happening in the social, political and other roles of women in the American society.

There is considered the correlation and two-way influence of the concepts frontier and pioneer, analyzed their roles in the establishment and development of the USA as an independent state and significance in American national values formation.
