Theoretical basis of the innovative development of patriotic education in the region
There is represented the phenomenon of Russian patriotism and the necessity of its study in the postindustrial realities of the modern period, the regional innovative model of the patriotic education in the appropriate paradigmatic context, strategic guidelines and the basic areas of its implementation in the conditions of the XXI century.

Patriotism and national self-consciousness - the axiological foundations of education in Russia
There are considered the axiological foundations of development of patriotism and national self-consciousness in the Russian pedagogy. Based on the historic and pedagogic analysis there is revealed the correlation of patriotism and national self-consciousness of a Russian, represented the modern interpretations of the category “patriotism”, marked out the areas of education in development of national self-consciousness and patriotic feeling of Russian pupils by means of popular pedagogy.

Development of the civil position
There are analyzed and classified various approaches to civil education, substantiated the key role of pupil’s subjectivity in this process represented as the civil position of a teacher and a pupil. Correlation of students’ patriotism and tolerance establishment
There is revealed the correlation between students’ patriotism and tolerance establishment. It is known that the patriotism and tolerance are the components of individual social experience. There is proved that the establishment of tolerance and patriotism is determined by the individual social experience (as internal factor) and successful socio-pedagogical interaction (as external factor).

Network university correlation as the innovation component of patriotic education
There is considered the issue of patriotic education of a personality in the modern conditions when many usual life attributes change within the period of one generation. In these conditions the key role in the region belongs to a modern classical university, which has personnel, material and technical, scientific and methodological and other support, has cultural work of several levels: country culture, academician culture, cultural elements of internationality and is able to become a resource centre in organization of the processes of patriotic education. Functioning in the educational space, these correlations are becoming cultural, spiritual and moral, patriotic phenomena that produce the new models of behavior of people and institutes.

Educational and professional standard as the instrument of the innovative development of pedagogic education at a Federal university
There is substantiated the methodology of development of the educational and professional standard of the Southern Federal University. Its urgency is caused by its orientation at training a teacher of the new formation, implementation of the paradigm of humanities and activity and the pedagogic education adequate to it - the anticipatory pedagogic education of the university type. Semantic contrast in the free verse text
There is considered the contrast of the ideas in the texts of the modern Russian free verse. There is stated that the typical semantic oppositions in the free verse are the contrast of the original and the apparent, the free and the coherent, the real and the imaginary, the customary and the unexpected, the divine and the humane, the past / future and the present, the ephemeral and the constant, that has the right for a word and bears responsibility for what has been said.

Typology of contracted constructs of abbreviations
There are described the types of abbreviated constructs, i.e. contracted components of compound abbreviated words. There is stated that abbreviated construct may have the status of abbreviated equivalent, i.e. the constructed doublets of the component of the initial word combination used in abbreviation, and abbreviated morpheme, i.e. on the basis of the abbreviated equivalent of the morpheme with the abstract semantics used in quasiabbreviations.

Polysemy of the appellative unit as one of the signs of its implementation into the language system
There are considered the appellative units that acquired more than one meaning in the process of functioning, so became polysemantic. Usage peculiarities of metaphors and comparisons in the epistolary style of the XIX-XX centuries (based on the units that note the works of literature)
There are analyzed the functioning peculiarities of metaphors and comparisons in the epistolary style of the XIX-XX centuries. There are revealed the usage regularities of these tropes that are similar to their use in colloquial speech. There is given the thematic classification of the analyzed metaphors and comparisons. There are shown the author’s preferences in tropes choice relating to this or that thematic group that characterize the epistolary idiostyle of the writer.

Western narrative film about the Battle of Stalingrad through the eyes of Russian spectators
The paper focuses on the film Enemy at the Gates (2001) and its discussion on Russian Internet sites in order to reveal the portrayal of the Stalingrad Battle by Western cinematographers and its perception by Russian viewers. Methodologically, the research relies on narrative analysis to establish the factors which must be taken into account while creating a narrative film about an alien culture.

Bulgarian fairy tales about samovilas as the reflection of the folklore world picture
There is considered the myth concept “Samovila” characteristic for the Bulgarian fairy tale folklore. The structure of the myth concept includes conceptual, figurative and axiological levels which can differ from the appropriate levels of a general cultural concept. The Great Victory and “white” spots in its history
The study of the main issues of the Great Victory of the Soviet people over the fascist Germany was and is quite urgent. Researchers pay special attention to the little investigated or not investigated issues of the beginning, the course and the end of the Great Patriotic War of the 1941-1945. In particular, there are analyzed the issues of the “white” spots. In this connection there is noted that now it is even 70 years after the victory in the Great Patriotic War, but the number of “white spots” in its history hasn’t become less. They are covered in the article on the basis of the particular facts.

War till the very end. German Wehrmacht of the year 1945
There are analyzed the strategies of the Nazi authorities after the Battle of Stalingrad. The destruction of the 6th Army was considered as the basic model of the future of the German nation in the conditions of the military defeat. There is shown the criminal nature of the policy carried out under the mythic notion “destruction”, meaning the duty till the death, which lead to the numerous human victims among the military and civil population.

The defeated nation. Pride, disgrace and shame in the national self-consciousness of the Germans
There is considered the history of the German nation during the last century based on the theory by a psychologist V.D. Volkan who considers pride connected with the victory and disgrace and shame connected with defeats as the determining factors of nation’s self-consciousness. The author considers that it’s the sense of shame that helped the German army to overcome the “break of civilization” that happened in the years of the Second World War, and return to the circle of culture nations.

People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs and preparation for the guerrilla warfare in October and November of the 1941
There is considered the issue of the major role of the central and territorial organs of the PCIA in organization and establishment of the guerrilla movement by the example of the situation in the Yaroslavl region in the course of the German attack on Moscow in the autumn 1941. The real threat of the enemy occupation of the Yaroslavl region territory made the PCIA organs create secret services, diversion groups and guerrilla groups. There is considered the process of organization of the material supply of the future guerrilla groups and diversion groups. Based on the FSS archival materials of the Yaroslavl region there s given the information about the man power of the guerrilla groups and diversion groups.

Fascist occupation policy and its consequences in Stalingrad (July 1942 - February 1943)
There is represented the occupation policy in the districts of Stalingrad and the region temporarily occupied by the fascist forces. There are shown the material and everyday difficulties of the life of local population in the period of occupation. Influence of the Great Patriotic War and the Battle of Stalingrad on the condition of the institutions of culture of the Stalingrad region
There is analyzed the condition of the culture sphere of Stalingrad and the region after the Battle of Stalingrad, given the assessment of the material and financial losses of the institutions of culture during the years of war, considered the problems in determination of the damage caused to the institutions of culture of the Battle of Stalingrad in the years of the Great Patriotic War.

Theme of war captivity in the space of the regional history
This article starts a series of works considering the issue of a person in the conditions of captivity in the period of the Great Patriotic War. The project is aimed at finding out the characteristics that reflect the political and law, social and economic, culture and communicative aspects of captivity. In spite of the big historiography of the issue, many aspects are still uncertain. There is recreated the captivity by the example of the Astrakhan region.

Juvenile prisoners of concentration camps and their legal status in modern Russia
There is regarded the issue of establishment and work of the only Russian organization of numerous victims of the war - the Union of Juvenile Prisoners of Nazi Camps. There is highlighted the legal status, the question of the state and public acceptance of the problems of former juvenile prisoners. The attention is paid to the issue of memory about the war; those who overcame this ordeal are the last witnesses of the war.
