Positive communication in social networks: development trends
The article deals with the issues of emotive linguoecology as applied to the communicative space of social networks. The authors examine the examples of text messages characterized by a positive tone appearing on the general background of negative content in social networks, which can be perceived as a definite tendency to restore the emotional-ecological balance in the virtual communication of Internet users. Positive communication is postulated as a significant component of the harmonization of a person’s physical and spiritual health and as a condition for the betterment of the nation as a whole.

Extracurricular activities as a platform for developement of sociocultural competence of students of pedagogical higher school
The article deals with the principles and functions of extracurricular activities in foreign language in higher school in the process of sociocultural competence development. The basic characteristics of sociocultural competence are described. The authors develop the algorithm of organizing and conducting extracurricular work, find out the features of extracurricular foreign language activities that contribute to the process of formation of the sociocultural competence of students of pedagogical higher schools.

Foreign language fiction cinema discourse as a means of formation of communicative competence of pedagogical university students
The article deals with teaching methods used when working with foreign language fiction films in the process of formation of communicative competence of students. The main characteristics of communicative competence are under consideration, the system of work on the film is described, the system of tasks stimulating the formation of future teacher’s communicative competence is given in the article.

Adaptation of cultural meanings of emotional concepts in the process of artistic translation
There is considered the issue of adaptation of cultural and emotional meanings in the original and translated variant of a classical novel. There are suggested the ways of transformation of emotive and semantic language means that make the emotional concepts objective. The suggested routes allow finding out the signs of the concepts for adequate interpretation in the original language and for translation.

Issue of childrens bilingualism
There is covered the issue of childrens learning bilingualism. The priority goal of foreign languages teaching at the early stage is development of childs communicative competence by means of new linguistic and cultural code mastering. The specificity of this stage of foreign language learning concerns the motivation, learning conditions, level of native language involvement, consciousness, tutors position, as well as the forms and ways of education.
