Factors and conditions of effective development of creative abilities of teenagers based on the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture
In the context of modern education the article deals with the issue of development of teenager’s creative abilities in the conditions of implementation of the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture. The scientific definition of the notion “teenager’s creative abilities” is given; the levels of its development are described: inert, reproductive, reflexive and heuristic, creative. Based on the monographic characteristics for each level the basic factors (invariant and variable) and pedagogic conditions of development of teenager’s creative abilities are determined and described.

Methods of development of teenagers’ creative abilities based on the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture
The article deals with the notion “creative abilities of a teenager”. It represents and describes the author’s methods of development of modern teenagers’ creative abilities based on the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture. The author describes the stages of development of a pedagogic situation and the principles of teacher’s work aimed to develop teenagers’ creative abilities based on the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture, determines teacher’s actions at every stage. The results of the systemic forming experiment are represented.

A modern teenager in the educational space of the Russian folk culture
The author analyzes the categories “Russian folk culture”, “educational space”; finds out the role of the folk culture in the creative development of teenagers. The author’s definitions of the notions “Russian folk culture”, “educational space of the Russian folk culture”, “artistic and figurative expressiveness” are given. There are revealed the essential characteristics and functioning mechanisms of the educational space of the Russian folk culture. There are determined the principles of teacher’s work directed at teenagers’ creative abilities development.

Active patriotism as the factor of teenager’s creative abilities development
In the context of the modern education the active patriotism is considered as a social and cultural, pedagogic and personal phenomenon. There are analyzed and summarized the basic approaches to the research of the notions “activity” and “patriotism”. In the conditions of implementation of the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture there is revealed the role of active patriotism as the most important factor of development of teenager’s creative abilities.

Phenomenon of the Russian folk culture in the context of sociocultural modernization of education
There is considered the Russian folk culture in the context of sociocultural modernization of education, analyzed the main state documents regarding education, revealed the pedagogic role of the Russian folk culture in artistic and aesthetic education of a modern teenager. There is given the author’s understanding of the term “Russian folk culture” as the ethnic pedagogical phenomenon, given the definitions of the notions “pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture”, “implementation of the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture”. There are revealed the essential characteristics of the Russian folk culture, components and functions of the pedagogic potential of the Russian folk culture.
