There are regarded the criteria of textuality. There are determined the peculiarities of text understanding in the law discourse.

There is considered the issue of interdiscursiveness of the diplomatic discourse. The expression “institutional character of the discourse” is represented as the key one, which means that there are various types of discourse that appear in different institutions. There are given the examples of interaction of the diplomatic discourse with others (political, mass media discourse, juridical and military discourses), shown the way they cross.
