There are described the communicative means of the emotional unison support in the marital dialogue as one of the significant issues in the modern theory of linguistic ecology of interpersonal communication.

There are described the peculiarities of the com-municative behavior in the initiation of communication depending on the gender. On the basis of the material of the matrimonial discourse there are sorted out two main strategic lines: communicative cooperation and communicative confrontation.

There are analyzed the works of the Russian and foreign scientists regarding the research issue of communicative initiative as an interparadigm notion. There is determined the circle of problematic issues that require linguistic analysis for clarifying the status characteristics of the initiative in communication.
