The article considers the reflection of the concept of grievance in the Russian language picture of the world. The authors explore the ways of conceptualizing emotions in vocabulary and phraseology. A semantic analysis of the main forms of the lexeme “grievance” is carried out. The ways of the naive understanding of the concept of grievance are described.
