The article looks upon training of school summer camp counselors as a relevant issue for modern Donbass. Preserving the traditions ofthe training of school camp counselors in the conditions ofa military conflict is regarded as important for all participants ofthe summer health campaign. The author points out that counselorsshould come to school camps prepared well enough to make the summer camp session bright and memorable for children. The process of counselor training in Gorlovka Institute ofForeign Languages, Donetsk People's Republic, is explored.
