The article describes a system of professional tasks the teacher can carry out to engage students in communicative activities in the electronic educational environment. The system is based on the analysis of scientific literature, normative documents and the consideration of groups of professional tasks constructed within the framework of the competence approach to the organization of higher pedagogical education. The author proposes updating the content of professional tasks to make it possible to introduce changes in the system of training future teachers.
