The article deals with the intertextual units from the point of their presentation of the regional specificity. The study is based on the texts of the Astrakhan regional socio-political weekly “Fact and Compromising”. Referring to this material made it possible to come to certain conclusions with regard to some points of the regional linguistics (in particular, presentation of some specific language units as a means of representing the values and attitudes of a group of people living in the same territory).
