The article deals with the verbal labels (lexical (idiomatic) language units performing the pejorative function) on the example of the election discourse of the candidate in presidents of the Russian Federation Ksenia Anatolevna Sobchak. The language features of election discourse are in the focus of modern linguists in terms of their impact on voters, the use of labels reflects the political position and candidates’ views on various issues.
