The article deals with the experience of organizing a mathematical battle as an interactive method of teaching mathematics at an economic university. When teaching mathematics to students studying economics, there are a number of problems, such as low motivation and passivity in classroom. One way to stimulate motivation and activity is to use interactive teaching methods. Among them there is a mathematical battle, which increases the efficiency of mastering theoretical knowledge and practical skills, cognitive interest in mathematics, and develops skills of teamwork.
