The article deals with the methodological features of the concept “information security” in the course of computer science at school: it substantiates the relevance of the study of this concept, describes the features of the target, content and procedural components of the adequate method of formation of this concept depending on the propaedeutic, basic and profile stages of teaching computer science at school.
