The article presents the analysis of onomastic units associated with the military events of Stalingrad in 1942-1943. It describes the characteristics of the field structure, identifies the connection between constituents, considers the features of the semantics of central constituents. For naming the units under consideration, the term “militarionym” is proposed, the expediency to use it scientifically is proved in the article.
