The article considers particular linguo-didactic principles of the grammatical competence development as exemplified in the complex grammatical phenomena of the Spanish language as the second foreign language and substantiated from the conceptual and situational-technological positions. Special principles form the theoretical basis for teaching complex grammatical phenomena of the second foreign language.
