The article deals with the directions of implementation of scientific research activities of ecology students by means of mathematics: solution of tasks of professional environmental orientation, publication of scientific results, work on applied research projects. Special attention is paid to this direction, as in the research process students create objectively new scientific knowledge and master the structure of scientific research activities.
