The article deals with the role of the intellectual structures in the development of the processes of adaptation of cadets of military higher schools. The choice of the necessary intellectual strategy by the cadet is caused by the need to solve the problems of team interaction arising in the process of vocational adaptation of cadets. In this article, the choice of adaptation strategy means the choice of the strategy of the intellectual activity in the context of the opposition “assimilation - accommodation”.
