The article deals with the first six years of the reign of Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich. His first task was the necessity to calm and pacify the country. By establishing the new and reforming the old authorities, there was established a stable structure of power: the tsar, the Zemsky Sobor and the Boyar Duma. The government filled the Treasury through withdrawal of the requested and pyatina money, which actually meant the restoration of the state by the forces of the whole nation.
