The article presents the theoretical and practical aspects of comparative lexicography by the example of the Russian-Tatar-English-Spanish illustrated dictionary for children. The basic principles of bilingual lexicography and methods of their implementation are under consideration. This lexicographical work of 300 entries will be provided with illustrative colouring pictures for better mastering the material by schoolchildren.
