The article presents the study confirming the importance of training a trustee when taking a child into a substitute family. The level of competence of close relatives is identified as insufficient for full performance of parental functions, which determines the importance of training. The features of the blood substitute family are determined in order to obtain positive results, the need for specification of materials and correction of their transfer technology.
