Vysotsky’s song “Tyumen Oil” (1972), which combines the features of the poet’s songs of the previous period (late 1960s) about the people of courageous professions and his satirical (genre) songs of the same time, opens in his lyrics the possibility of synthesis of “high” and “low” in the field of the ontological poetry of the “Hamlet” period (early 1970s) and anticipates the gallery of his later works (“It Was an Error”, “Two Fates”, etc.).

The article presents the author’s understanding of a modern university lecture on the history of literature, which should first of all be problem-focused rather than descriptive and factual. The works of Professor Y.S. Bilinkis are regarded as a scientific source based on this approach (namely his articles on “Woe from Wit” and “Eugene Onegin”).
