The article deals with the phenomenon of “linguocultural type”, which is represented in the character of a work of art, in connection with the national linguistic personality and according to the role, situational and communicative guidelines. The semantic application as a speech tendency of the linguocultural type, a pun, the means of creation of the comic effect and antithesis are under consideration in the article.
