The article deals with the system of working with authentic fiction films in groups of foreign students of the basic level (A2) in classes of Russian as a foreign language. This system is implemented in the manual on working with O. Bychkova’s film “Plus One” (2008) “Russian Film without Subtitles” (2017). The classification of authentic fiction films that can be used in RFL classes is presented, as well as the features of working with adapted films at the basic level (A2).
