The article deals with the features of structural and semantic organization and pragmatic orientation of political texts of the Second World War. The research conducted on the material of the propaganda posters of the Soviet Union, Germany and the USA, helped to identify the national and cultural features of the compositional organization and the most typical incentive images for posters.
