The article deals with the flint nucleithat were the result of the excavations in the Matlass settlement in Central Dagestan in 2015.The nuclei are of small size and show a well-developed primary technique of splitting a stone with the purpose to obtain a microplateof the correct form and standard size. Based on the technical and morphological characteristics, they can refer to the Neolithic age.
