The article deals with the structure of the description of goods in online stores from the point of view of the theory of speech acts. The text of the description of goods is considered to be a microact consisting of different types of speech acts. The following typical speech acts for goods description are described: representative, directive, expressive and comissive. It is concluded that the essential components of the description of goods in online store “Yulmart” are representatives and directives.
