The article presents the contents and process of the modular further training course “Models and technologies of state and municipal administration”. It is concluded that the continuous education is highly relevant for the development of the modern society, which determines education“through life”.

The article deals with the basic characteristics of some innovative educational technologies to ensure a constructive interaction between the subjects of the educational process. It is concluded that in the current socio-economic conditions the innovative educational technologies are a set of tools and methods of formation the competence of specialists demanded in the labor market.
