The article deals with the issue of the significance of formation of information educational environment of a higher school that, on the one hand, meets the requirements of the modern time, and on the other - the educational needs of young people (students). The notion “educational request of the youth” is under consideration. The authors represent the results of the study aimed to research the educational needs of students in the conditions of the dynamically developing information environment.
