The article deals with the typology of women’s images in the novel by G. Ibragimov “The Fate of the Tatar”. The author analyzes and characterizes the artistic ways of creating women’s images from the point of their national identity, raises the problem of women’s emancipation.

The article represents the results of the study aimed to characterize the basic challenges and to propose some effective ways of formation and development of the foreign language word-formation competence of students specializing in Turkology in the conditions of the national Russian bilingualism in the Republic of Tatarstan.
