Based on the regional historiographic experience and the new factual material, the article represents an attempt to highlight the main aspects of the development of one of the most important components of the cultural life of the people in North Caucasus Autonomous republics - the artistic culture - in the conditions of the multinational region in the period of postwar recovery and development of the national economy.
