The article represents the author’s technology of formation of the gender competence of a future teacher as the most important component of the professional competence. In contrast to the previously known techniques describing the basic forms of activity of students, the stages of competence formation, the proposed technology is based on the educational modules (independent units of the educational programmes), allowing to consider the features of the individual development that ensure the mastery of the general cultural, general professional and professional competences.
