The article deals with the issue of formation of the image of a social worker. Professionally significant qualities of the personality of a social worker are caused by the determinants of its formation. Communication skills, tolerance, empathy, professional ethics are highlighted as the dominant professional qualities. The article represents the results of the pedagogical experiment of the formation of these properties, their connection with the formation of the image of a social worker.
