The article deals with the role of electronic manuals in the process of organization of students’ independent work. The potential of information technologies in modernization of educational process in physics as well as in a number of methodological issues is under consideration. The author describes own experience in implementation of information technologies in educational process. Along with a variety of technologies, forms, methods, teaching techniques, information and communication technologies in education make it possible to achieve a guaranteed pedagogical result.
