The article deals with the linguistic and cultural ways of representation of Russian proverbs to foreign students, asrepresented in textbooks of Russian as a foreign language (“Road to Russia”). The author describes the options of linguistic and cultural reviewof ethnically and culturallymarkedcomponents ofproverbs and thematic groups of proverbs.
