The article deals with the issues of polycultural education in foreign language classes by the example of Internet resources. The potential of a number of websites for effective organization of polycultural education is under consideration in the article.

The article deals with the issue of prevention of extremism among university students within the framework of multicultural education. The results of research conducted by the authors in Elabuga Institute of Kazan (Volga region) Federal Universityare represented in the article;the authors describe the experience of working with 1-2 year students at foreign language classes, aimed at the development of students’ negative attitude to extremist ideology.
