The article deals with the algorithm of the work with TED talks in the process of learning English. The basic criteria for video selection with consideration of the language level of the students are described in the article. The tasks that accompany pre-demonstration, demonstration and post-demonstration stages of the educational process by means of TED talks are under consideration. It is proved that this resource contributes to the harmonious development of future specialists.
