The article deals with the experience of classification of verbal techniques of manipulation in the informal interpersonal communication, which let people make the communication easier or get some benefit. Such techniques are based on the psychological effect, when a manipulator gets some benefit by a person’s vanity, guilt, shame, fear and often lead the interlocutor in a state of psychological discomfort.
