The modern society has a great demand for specialists with highly developed linguistic competence. The author analyzes the features of advertisement and PR specialists, the modern state of graduates’ linguistic training, finds out the reasons for their low linguistic competence and the role of linguistic disciplines in the system of advertisement and PR specialists training, and thus finds the ways to improve students’ verbal skills.
