The article deals with the potential of the synchronous monitoring in development of the algorithm structure of the independent work of students. The authors analyze the essence, structure, characteristics and algorithm of the synchronous type of pedagogic monitoring in comparison with the traditional types of monitoring. The mechanism of development of the abilities to structure the independent work in the process of self-assessment of the educational work is described in details. The grounds for the necessity of automatic functions of the synchronous monitoring are given.
