The article deals with the forms, methods and ways of teaching in the aspect of interdisciplinary educational technologies aimed at development of the informational and prognostic competence of an officer of the National Guard of Russia and implemented in the conditions of productive education. As the example of the use of the interdisciplinary technology as a component of productive education, the author describes the organization of independent work of cadets in the course “Criminology” specializing in 40.05.01 “Law support of national security”. The didactic goals in the process of cadets’ independent work are analyzed.
