The article gives the theoretic grounds and describes the structural and functional model of value attitude to heroic traditions. It marks the functions that show the connection of value attitude to heroic traditions and a pupil’s personality. The components of the personal phenomenon are found out: cognitive and assessing, emotional and meaningful, activity.
