The article deals with the historical experience of propaganda of the basic forms of agrotechnical educational of rural workers developed in the 1950-1960s. It is proved that agropropaganda was an essential addition and continued the system of staff training in the sphere of mass professions and specialists in agriculture. It is noted that it favoured further development of their knowledge, improved the qualification and cultural and technical level.
