The article deals with the issue of spirituality in education of young people, which is the urgent issue at the present moment in Russia. After the destruction of the Soviet system of education which had both education and upbringing as the core components, there is vacuum now in development of higher school students’ personal qualities based on the Russian educational traditions.

The article deals with the urgent issue of the text content in foreign language educational space. The authors analyze such notions as “language communication”, “verbal communication”, “model of verbal communication”, as well as “professional foreign language verbal communication” applied to the interrelated processes of coding and decoding of knowledge information that is the subject of the educational discipline. The empiric research of the contents of two textbooks in the English language is carried out with the aim to find the relevance of their contents with the authentic contents of the relevant disciplines in Russian in five aspects.
