The author analyzes the modern socio-cultural situation in Russia and finds out the conditions that determine new values of psychological and pedagogic education, such as the quality of education, creativity, information competence, collaboration. The theoretical issues are proved by the information gained in the course of the empiric research carried out at the Taganrog Institute n.a. A.P. Chekhov at the faculty of Psychology and Social Pedagogy.
