There are considered the categories of space and time as the basic parameters for SMS-communication based on the English messages of the corps developed in the National University of Singapore. The article is aimed at studying the syntactic structure of short messages and finding out the characteristics of this kind of communication. As the result of the analysis there are stated the basic ways to determine the role of the categories of time and space in SMS-communication.
