There are covered the issues of development of the cognitive activity of foreign students in the process of Russian phraseology study. There are described the research results regarding the pedagogic conditions of development of foreign students’ cognitive activity in the process of Russian phraseology study. There is considered the diagnostics of the level of the cognitive activity development.
