Based on the articles by an Adygei literary critic, academician K.G. Shazzo there are noted the basic moments of his literary and polemical discourse. There is marked out the leitmotif of these articles: disputes about the role of socialist realism in the North Caucasus literature, critics of the tendency of making a cult of famous writers, the problem of young writers, the problem of devaluation of the significance and culture of small nations.
